Brian Linc

Experience:
- Coaching since 1999
- Brian skated competitively for 10 years, including collegiate, and is a regional gold medalist. He trained under 1960 Olympic Gold Medalist Carol Heiss Jenkins and 1974 World Silver Medalist Glyn Watts at the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club in Lakewood, Ohio. He also had several years of off-ice strength and conditioning training at the Cleveland Clinic in Independence, Ohio. He is a coach with the Center Ice Learn to skate and Junior Club Programs. Brian has served on the Center Ice Skating Club board of directors and has performed in and helped choreograph various ice shows. He has a MS of Architecture from Kent State University and is an architect with Lawrence and Dykes Architects in Canton, Ohio.

Este-Lela Curless

- Este has been figure skating since 1992 and has coached a variety of areas and ages, both adult and youth, at Penn State and the Akron-Canton area including Freestyle, Moves, Choreography, Basic Skills, and Adaptive Learn to skate. She also studied ballet and piano. Este regularly attends PSA & USFSA workshops throughout the country. Este has a BS in GIS/Cartography/Remote Sensing from Penn State University and works at Lockheed Martin as a Simulation Software Engineer. She also provides skaters premium professional program music editing services.

Jenna Lee Zavasky

-Jenna has been skating since 1995 and has been competing since 2000. She still skates competitively under the instruction of Stephanie Troyer & Betsy Parke. She has coached private lessons at Center Ice Sports Complex as well as Learn to Skate. Jenna is currently attending Walsh University majoring in Early Childhood Education and Intervention Specialist, and will be graduating with her licensure and bachelor’s degree in May 2013.

Background: Kamryn has skated competitively since 2006 and continues competing at the novice level. She is the 2011 Intermediate National Dramatic Showcase Champion and has been a regional medalist. She continues to be coached by Stephanie Troyer, Tonia Kwiatkowski, and Chris Martin. Also, Kamryn has worked with coaches such as Parker Pennington, Serguei and Elena Zaitsev, and Shanetta Folle. She has taught Adaptive Learn-to-Skate and continues to teach in the Learn to Skate Basic Skills program. In addition to coaching and competitively skating, Kamryn is currently studying at the University of Akron.

Megan Riedy

- Megan attends the Kent State University majoring in nursing and minoring in Business and Bio-ethics. She skated competitively for 7 years. She has coached private lessons at Center Ice, Winterhurst, Brooklyn & Rocky river as well as Learn to skate & Junior Clubs. She has been a volunteer Special Olympics instructor. Additionally, Megan has been involved in cheerleading: cheering in high school and at the University of Akron, coaching for the North Coast All Stars as well as judging area competitions & tryouts.

Stephanie Troyer

- Stephanie skated competitively for 11 years while taking from Tonia Kwaitkowski, Marci Hess, Dick & Lynn Rimmer, and Serguei & Elena Zaitsev, and was a regional gold medalist. She has coached private lessons at Center Ice as well as learn to skate. She has attended PSA seminars and has worked with her students and coaches while they attended the World Skating Academy in Indianapolis. She has directed several ice shows & exhibitions. Her passion is coaching. Stephanie has an undergraduate degree from the University of Mount Union and has her Master’s Degree in Education from Kent State University.
